Game Jam @ KL20 Johor is an intensive 36-hour overnight game development challenge bringing together aspiring game developers, designers, artists and creators to turn ideas into playable game prototypes. Working in multidisciplinary teams, participants will ideate, design and develop their games within a limited timeframe before presenting their creations to a panel of judges at KL20 Johor. Whether you already have a team or are coming on your own, the Game Jam is an opportunity to create, collaborate, learn and connect with fellow game creators.

The 36-hour development challenge runs from Sunday to Monday, followed by the final pitching and judging session on the morning of 29 September 2026 at the Exhibition Kiosk.
Winners will be announced during the KL20 Networking Session later that day.
Participants may register as a complete team of up to five members or individually. Participants without a complete team will be matched based on their experience and skill sets, including programming, game design, art and audio.
